Sourcing Manager - Logistics

As a Sourcing Manager – Logistics, you will contribute to the development of Boliden's transport and logistics network, working closely with colleagues and suppliers across Europe and supporting logistics activities connected to Boliden's operational sites and business locations.

This role combines commercial thinking, relationship building, and analytical skills to create efficient and sustainable logistics solutions. Who you will work with You will report to the Head of Logistics and be part of a team of seven dedicated logistics professionals within Group Logistics. In this role, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across Boliden’s organization, as well as with external logistics providers and strategic partners. The position is preferably based in Sweden or Finland at one of our operational sites. Regular travel to Boliden sites will be required, along with occasional visits to other company locations. What you will do Boliden manages a large and complex logistics network involving the transportation of products, raw materials, by-products, and project cargo across multiple locations and transport modes. As a Sourcing Manager – Logistics, you will be responsible for selected transport categories and logistics solutions across the Boliden Group, supporting flows to, from, and between Boliden's operations. In this role, you will: Lead sourcing activities, tenders, and contract negotiations for transport and logistics services. Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics providers, suppliers, and strategic partners. Monitor transport markets and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency, service, and sustainability. Drive initiatives related to safety, sustainability, quality, and continuous improvement across logistics flows. Support logistics projects, including network optimization, transport mode selection, and supply chain development. Collaborate with stakeholders across the business and follow up supplier performance through KPIs and business reviews. Contribute to emissions reduction, responsible sourcing, risk management, and the development of Group Logistics strategies and processes. Travel regularly as part of the role, approximately 2-4 days per month.

We believe you have: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or a related field. Relevant vocational education (YH) and/or practical experience are also considered valuable. Strong analytical skills and an interest in data-driven decision-making. An interest in supplier management, sourcing, negotiations, and logistics. Fluent English skills, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Finnish and an additional Nordic language is considered an asset. A valid EU Category B driving licence, as the role involves regular travel to Boliden's sites.
