About the Role

You will step into a business-oriented controlling role in a global Research & Development environment where ways of working, systems, and roles are changing rapidly. Here, controlling is not only about following up numbers. You will help create structure, support better decisions, and make sure financial steering keeps pace with a business in transformation. Working closely with managers and stakeholders across the organization, you will act as a trusted business partner and contribute to the future financial management model.

This role suits you if you enjoy combining financial depth with a broad business perspective and want real influence on how planning, follow-up, and performance management evolve in an R&D setting.

Job DescriptionYou drive and support key financial processes such as planning, budgeting, forecasting, closing, reporting, and KPI follow-up.

You provide analysis and insights that help management make strategic and operational decisions.

You work closely with leadership teams and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into clear financial steering.

You influence cost development and follow performance over time to ensure financial targets are met.

You contribute to improving ways of working, tools, and structures within controlling as the organization evolves.

You help shape and implement the future financial management model in a global and matrix-oriented environment.

RequirementsYou have minimum 5 years of experience in Business Controlling or a similar finance controlling role.

You have proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting.

You have experience supporting or partnering with management teams.

You have experience with financial closing processes, KPI follow-up, and performance management.

You have experience influencing cost development and supporting strategic business decisions.

You have experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership teams.

You have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

You have strong knowledge of Power BI.

You bring strong systems knowledge and solid data analysis capabilities.

You communicate clearly, build trust with both finance and non-finance stakeholders, and work effectively in a changing environment.

Nice to haveExperience from an international and global business environment.

Experience with SAP.
