IAM Project Manager

About the Role

You will take end-to-end ownership of a technical project within identity and access management, from ideation and prioritization to delivery and optimization. The role sits in a complex environment where business value, customer value, and secure access need to come together across multiple teams and dependencies. You will work closely with engineers and stakeholders to turn strategy into a clear roadmap, establish direction through OKRs, and create the conditions for steady delivery. It is a strong fit if you enjoy combining project leadership with real influence on IAM strategy, processes, and ways of working.

Job DescriptionYou will set the project mission and define OKRs that guide the team’s work and priorities.

You will translate goals into a roadmap, backlog, and MVP-focused delivery plan with fast feedback loops.

You will lead a cross-functional technical team and help create strong collaboration across related project teams.

You will build relationships with key stakeholders and align expectations, priorities, and business value.

You will identify opportunities to improve IAM strategy, policies, and processes.

You will coach the organization on IAM best practices and help address identity and access management issues.

You will support execution in a pragmatic, hands-on way and remove obstacles that slow progress.

RequirementsExperience leading technical teams in development environments with many dependencies.

Experience leading teams that build custom development solutions across geographically distributed setups.

Strong knowledge of IAM best practices, processes, and procedures.

Good understanding of directory services, including Active Directory, Azure AD, B2B/B2C, Microsoft Entra, and Microsoft Azure AD Identity Governance.

Experience with project roadmap development and management.

Experience creating project missions and OKRs.

Experience with Jira.

Nice to haveKnowledge of IAM/PAM solutions such as SailPoint, One Identity, Saviynt, or CyberArk.

Experience documenting IAM processes and procedures and reporting on IAM system activity.
