Senior Java / DevOps AWS Developer – Consultant Assignment

About the Assignment

We are looking for a Senior Java / DevOps AWS Developer for a long-term consultant assignment within the automotive technology sector. In this role, you will join a dynamic and collaborative development team working with modern cloud technologies and connected vehicle solutions. The assignment offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, contribute to highly impactful services, and collaborate closely with international technology and solution partners. The team typically works from the office two days per week, with the remaining time offering flexibility for remote work. The assignment may also include occasional travel to Germany for joint planning and collaboration events. Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Java / DevOps Developer, you will:Develop and maintain backend services using Java and AWS Work with cloud-based solutions and modern DevOps practices Take ownership of services throughout their lifecycle Contribute to deployment, automation, monitoring, and operational improvements Troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify effective solutions Collaborate closely with developers, solution partners, and other technical stakeholders Participate in planning, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement activities Work independently while actively contributing to the wider team

Requirements

We are looking for someone with:Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer / Java Developer Strong hands-on experience with AWS Solid professional experience with Java Good understanding of DevOps tools, processes, and practices Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and take ownership Excellent English communication skills A collaborative, proactive, and curious mindset

Nice to HaveProfessional experience with Python Experience from the automotive or connected vehicle industry Experience working in international, cross-functional teams
