About the Role

You will join a cross-functional MedTech environment where software quality is critical to product safety, performance, and compliance. In this role, you will work with the development and verification of embedded and application software for medical devices, covering the full path from requirements and prototyping to testing, integration, and implementation.

You will collaborate closely with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and operations in a regulated product setting with high demands on traceability and reliability. This is a strong opportunity if you want hands-on verification work in a domain where technical quality truly matters.

Job DescriptionYou will contribute to the design and development of new MedTech products as part of a cross-functional project team.

You will define software requirements and specifications based on product standards, system requirements, and risk analysis.

You will plan, execute, document, and report software verification activities.

You will test and evaluate embedded software to ensure functionality, performance, reliability, and compliance with relevant standards.

You will integrate and verify software developed by other engineers.

You will contribute to system-level risk analysis and broader product verification activities.

You will participate in technical design reviews and maintain required product and project documentation.

You will support Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Operations with technical input when needed.

RequirementsBSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience with embedded software and testing in electromechanical systems.

Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).

Experience with test automation and scripting.

Hands-on experience with diagnostics and debugging of embedded software.

Understanding of software verification in regulated product environments.

Knowledge of medical device regulations and standards, including FDA, MDR, ISO requirements, IEC 62304, and IEC 60601-1.

Familiarity with modern software testing strategies, tools, and practices.

Good understanding of product risk management.

Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

A structured, quality-focused way of working and a professional approach to confidential information.

Ability to travel internationally.
