We’re looking for a Buyer - Global Marketing Procurement for a company in Gothenburg. Start is in August 1st, 12 months limited contract to begin with. This role is 100% onsite in Gothenburg.
Senior Purchaser – Global Marketing Procurement
As part of Global Marketing Procurement, you will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, giving you exposure to everything from market and supplier analysis to contract management and category development within multiple marketing related areas. You'll have the chance to continuously expand your commercial, analytical, and stakeholder management skills but most importantly, you'll join a team that challenge existing ways of working, drive innovation, and shape the future of procurement in a dynamic and international environment.
What you’ll do
You will lead cross-functional sourcing projects within (but not limited to) merchandise, printed material, translation services, retailer training, internal training, and dealer material, covering all aspects from project preparation, execution, analysis, trend and market evaluations, negotiation, supplier selection, and contract management.
Responsible to set commodity and supplier strategies and actively cultivate and maintain strong commercial relationships with suppliers.
Collaborate proactively with key business stakeholders to gain a deep understanding around required products and services, the market, and innovations within each area. Identify opportunities to leverage existing business value, encompassing aspects like cost-efficiency, quality enhancement, and sustainability.
You'll conduct comprehensive market analysis, prioritize tasks, and develop optimal negotiation tactics.
Furthermore, you'll have the freedom to challenge the status quo, whether it's established routes or decisions, and engage with stakeholders, suppliers, and colleagues to foster a better mutual understanding and work collaboratively toward innovative and effective solutions.
Do You fit the profile?
You have global knowledge and experience in the dynamic marketing landscape from a procurement perspective, understand consumer and dealer offers, training, printing and translation services, buying processes, negotiations, and a solid grasp of potential providers within the area.
You have a proven track record of consistently driving successful sourcing processes, optimizing investments, and cultivating strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, playing a pivotal role to contributing to an organization's overall growth and transformation success.
Your familiarity with cost models used within the fields to apply them tactically and ensure maximized value and efficiency.
With your negotiation skills, you secure favorable rates and value when establishing contracts,
and forging long-lasting partnerships with suppliers, allowing for mutually beneficial collaborations.
You’re aware of trends, technologies, and shifts within these areas, positioning yourself as a reliable source of insights within the organization. Which enabling you to make informed decisions and provide valuable insights into the organization.
Proficiency in analyzing data to extract valuable insights and enable data-driven decision-making to optimize and consolidate future requests.
You demonstrate skills in setting strategic direction, aligning them with central business objectives, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to excel in meeting objectives and delivering desired outcomes to target audiences.
You demonstrate skills to influence and guide cross-functional teams, drive successful execution, and foster a collaborative and motivated work environment.
You have solid experience in supplier management and contract negotiations, using a fact-based approach to build strong partnerships and secure optimal commercial agreements.
Collaborating effectively with finance departments, aligning budgets with financial parameters, incorporating them into planning and procurement decisions for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
You hold a university degree or possess equivalent experience that underscores your knowledge and expertise.
With a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience from procurement and the marketing landscape, you bring expertise and insights to the role.
