Now we are looking for a Development Engineer – Power Electronics to join our team in Lund. The role As an Electronics Development Engineer, you will play an important role throughout the entire product development lifecycle – from early concepts and circuit design to prototype verification, industrialization, and product support. This is a hands-on role where you will combine engineering knowledge with practical problem-solving. You will work closely with colleagues across hardware, software, systems, and mechanical engineering to turn ideas into robust, high-performance products. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing electronic hardware for our power electronics products
Designing electronics at circuit, PCBA, and PCB level
Designing, building, and verifying prototypes
Performing laboratory work, measurements, testing, and troubleshooting
Working with EMC design and verification
Collaborating closely with system, software, and mechanical engineers
Contributing to product development from concept through production and customer support
Applying relevant IEC standards and supporting CE compliance
Who you are You are an engineer who enjoys understanding how things work – and then making them work better. You are comfortable moving between schematic design, the lab, measurements, debugging, and discussions with colleagues from other disciplines. You take ownership of your work, enjoy solving technical challenges, and are not afraid to get hands-on when a prototype does not behave as expected. You combine analytical thinking with a practical mindset and communicate effectively in an international environment. We believe you have:
An M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Experience in electronic hardware design and power electronics
Experience with active filters, variable frequency drives, or other power electronics is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience with laboratory work, testing, measurements, and troubleshooting
Experience with Altium Designer
Knowledge of EMC design and verification
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Familiarity with IEC standards and CE compliance
Experience from industrial product development is highly valued. We are particularly interested in someone who wants to work close to the technology and see their designs become real products.
