A program designed for your future For one year, divided into three periods, you will explore how Boliden operates end to end, and how your own unique background and experience connect to the bigger picture. As a graduate, you are employed in a permanent position from day one and supported by an individual development program. Throughout the year several engaged and experienced colleagues, will guide you in your progress. You will become part of an international network of graduates and colleagues, expanding both your knowledge and connections. Six joint training weeks with top-class lecturers will challenge your thinking and give you the opportunity to further deepen your skills. After graduation you will continue your journey with a mentor for six months. In addition, you will receive practical training in project methodology and Boliden’s production methods, enabling you to apply what you learn directly in our operations.

In this role as an Electrical Power Engineer, you'll be part of the electrical maintenance organization at Rönnskär, where you will help develop structured, system-oriented maintenance for the electrical power distribution network. You will connect maintenance methods and planning with the operational reality in the plant.

Responsibilities: Develop and formalize maintenance plans for the electrical power distribution network

Work with asset registers, templates and maintenance frameworks

Support criticality classifications and RCM-related maintenance work

Help establish standardized, practical and long-term ways of working

Apply maintenance methodologies to electrical power assets and translate theory into practice

Collaborate with the operational and electrical maintenance organization

Spend time in the plant to understand equipment and maintenance activities in practice

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering, High Voltage Engineering, Operations and Maintenance, Maintenance Engineering, or a related field

What you bring You hold a relevant university degree completed in 2025 or later. You can communicate clearly in English, hold a valid driver’s license and are available to start in September 2027.

The Assessment Center will take place in Stockholm, Sweden, on one day between February 16-19, 2027. Boliden will cover travel and accommodation expenses. Please ensure your availability between February 14-20, 2027, if you progress to the final stage.
