Material Management and Distribution Operator

We are currently seeking a Material Management and Distribution Operator for an exciting assignment within the pharmaceutical industry.

About the Role

As a Material Management and Distribution Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring that investigational medicinal products are handled, packed and distributed efficiently and in compliance with GMP requirements. You will join a collaborative team working in a dynamic environment where flexibility, quality and attention to detail are essential.

The role focuses on operational activities within material management and distribution, supporting the supply of clinical trial products to study sites around the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain documentation related to the handling and distribution of investigational medicinal products

• Receive, manage and pack materials for clinical studies

• Perform and document operational activities in accordance with GMP procedures and quality standards

• Act as a point of contact for distribution related questions within assigned studies

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process development activities

• Manage deviations and contribute to quality assurance activities

• Develop, review and maintain procedures and work instructions within the area of responsibility

• Support training and compliance related activities

• Maintain facilities and equipment according to GMP requirements

• Participate in projects and cross functional activities by contributing specialist knowledge and operational expertise

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Experience working within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device or another regulated industry

• Knowledge and understanding of GMP requirements

• Strong attention to detail and a quality focused mindset

• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

• Good organisational and communication skills

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Experience in material management, logistics, warehousing or distribution within Life Sciences is considered an advantage.
