Your future team
We have the opportunity of hiring Product Specialists (PS) to our Uptime Technical Service teams. We are looking for PS within the area of either; Electrical, Cab, Chassis and/or Transmission. Together we have the responsibility of delivering and coordinating technical support for Volvo HD ICE and BEV trucks towards market companies and importers. We are the link between the markets and product development departments, and we sometimes contribute to the product improvements, with our field and aftermarket expertise. Even though our main process is “Perform Technical Support”.
Profile description: What you will do
As Product Specialist (PS) at UTS, you will be responsible for resolving all kinds of hardware and software related problems that might occur in customer trucks. Quickly develop containment actions, temporarily resolving customer issues, and educating the market close support. You work independently with a large personal responsibility, supported by and supporting the UTS team when needed. Technical Service is the link between product development departments and the markets. Therefore, it is important to have both a ready-to-serve attitude, truck knowledge, business knowledge, as well as deep technical knowledge within your area. Or at least the willingness to continuously learn more.The main systems that we use today are among others; Argus SR, KOLA, Impact, VDA, SW Configurator, Tech tool, CANalyzer (and many more). So preferably you are familiar with some of them.
The work is carried out both at the office and in our trucks here in Gothenburg, where you remotely work on customer trucks, with analysis and support systems. Occasionally you will be visiting dealers and customers all around the world, to investigate and resolve problems. This is an important and rewarding part of the job.
Who are you?
This is a specialist role, and we expect you to have several years of experience within Volvo Trucks and/or TTI. We do see that you have both practical and theoretical experience of our products. You gladly roll up your sleeves to investigate and test problems and solutions also in/on the trucks. Always with the focus on our Customers Success.

To truly thrive and succeed in the PS role, you bring a C/CE driving license (preferred) and a technical university degree or equivalent experience. You’re confident in building networks and strong working relationships across teams, and you’re driven by curiosity and a genuine passion for problem solving.
