About the Assignment
You will join a robotics-focused manufacturing environment where supplier quality has a direct impact on production flow, product performance, and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will help strengthen the quality of purchased materials by working closely with suppliers as well as internal teams in production, purchasing, and R&D. The assignment combines hands-on quality work with continuous improvement, giving you the chance to drive both short-term corrective actions and longer-term supplier development.
You will be involved in a broad range of quality activities, from following up deviations seen in production or reported by customers to supporting audits, evaluations, and structured improvement initiatives. It is a role for you who enjoy being close to the business, taking ownership, and creating clear progress together with others. What makes this assignment interesting is the combination of operational impact and long-term improvement work in a technically advanced robotics setting.
Job DescriptionYou will work directly with suppliers, give feedback on issues detected in production or by customers, and drive both short- and long-term corrective actions.
You will review 8D reports and follow up on actions to ensure they are relevant, effective, and implemented.
You will lead improvement initiatives with suppliers focused on quality and cost improvements.
You will contribute as a project team member in production and SCM projects.
You will participate in supplier evaluations and drive corrective action plans, including activities aimed at reducing PPM.
You will perform annual audits for selected suppliers.
You will collaborate closely with production, purchasing, and R&D to improve the overall quality of purchased materials.
RequirementsMinimum 2 years’ experience from Supplier Quality Engineering.
Familiarity with motor and gears and/or cable and harness.
Experience with process audits and ISO 9001.
Experience with PPAP, FMEA, and control plans.
Experience in SAP.
You are comfortable working in cross-functional teams and communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
