About the Role
You will take a key role in driving electrical R&D forward in a cross-functional product development environment. The team works close to embedded software, mechanical design, algorithm development, and measurement technology, and you will be the dedicated specialist for electrical and electronics design.
The work spans both new development and product maintenance. You will help bring new boards and systems to life while also ensuring that existing products remain robust, manufacturable, and possible to produce over time. This means working close to real hardware, balancing theory with hands-on implementation, and finding pragmatic solutions that work in practice.
This is an especially interesting role if you enjoy broad technical ownership across PCB design, system troubleshooting, and long-term product reliability.
Job DescriptionYou will design, lay out, and bring up new PCB boards, from component selection to working prototype.
You will update existing boards to secure continuous producibility in ongoing production.
You will identify and update other electrical components such as pumps and motors to support long-term product availability.
You will troubleshoot electromechanical systems at system level, perform root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
You will create cable drawings and build prototype cables.
You will support escalated hardware issues as a senior point of contact for internal teams and customers.
Requirements10+ years of PCB design and layout in a product development context.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting electromechanical systems.
Experience working with products that fall under the Machinery Directive or the Low Voltage Directive.
Experience using OrCAD.
You are comfortable moving from theoretical concepts to hands-on implementation and taking a pragmatic approach when needed.
Nice to haveSome C programming skills.
Experience with RF components.
Some experience in the pulp and paper industry.
Fluency in Swedish.
