As an employee at Itinera, you are expected to demonstrate good teamwork and contribute to the company’s overall goals. You take responsibility for your tasks, relationships with colleagues and partners, and our shared work environment and work climate. You follow instructions and carry out assigned tasks while contributing with improvement suggestions where appropriate.
You will cooperate closely with:
Internally: Production Team, Contracts Office, and Accounting.
Externally: Suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers.
Main Responsibilities as a Buyer

· Purchase goods and services, plan procurement needs, solicit bids and quotations, and maintain and establish supplier contacts.
· Negotiate prices and delivery conditions and oversee the drafting, review, and execution of contracts and agreements.
· Prepare cost analyses, comparisons, and recommendations to support procurement decisions.
· Develop and maintain relationships with existing suppliers while identifying and establishing relationships with new partners.
· Collaborate with the Contracts Office to address non-conformities related to procured products and services and manage potential claims with suppliers and subcontractors.
· Identify and utilize purchasing synergies to optimize contract costs where possible.
· Collaborate with Project Managers and the Technical Department to explore technical solutions available in the market and associated costs.
· Support Project Managers and the Cost Control Department by providing market pricing and cost data for budgeting, forecasting, and additional work.
· Assist in business negotiations, in coordination with the Parent Company, regarding machinery, equipment, and systems.
· Ensure that suppliers comply with Quality, Environment, and Safety requirements, as well as internal guidelines and procedures.
Your Profile
To succeed in this role, you have:
· Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
· Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
