Your future team
The line organization is responsible for the development of device management services with ACC(Axis Cloud Connect Platform), which have strategical importance and are used by a majority of Axis customers and partners worldwide. Device management SaaS, as part of ACC involves the device onboarding, provisioning, authenticating, configuring, maintaining, monitoring and diagnosing connected device operating as part of a surveillance system.
There are about 21 skilled and motivated engineers with great diversity and good team spirit.
What you will do here as a Senior Software Engineer
You will work in an autonomous agile team of 4-5 engineers. Your main tasks will be:
Understand the requirements from product owner, design and develop full-stack solution(on edge, on cloud and front-end as well).
Go and C# will be the main programming language, sprinkled with some Python.
Cyber security will be one important aspect in your design and development work.
The role has the possibility, at times, to go to conferences and customer meetings.

Additionally, we prefer that you have the following background and skills:
Bachelor or Master of Engineering in Computer Science or equivalent
An agile mindset and understanding of DevOps and the value of early and automated testing.
Experience in working in Linux development environment using various tools such as Git and Docker.
Bonus points for experience with AWS cloud development.
Bonus points for experience with databases, SQL and no-sqls. APIs such as REST, GraphQL.
