Mechanical Engineer - Green Hydrogen Deeptech Startup

Caplyzer is an early stage deeptech startup, backed by KTH Ventures, that has developed a patented technology to make green hydrogen production simple and cost efficient. Our goal is to revolutionize sustainable energy by developing advanced electrolyzer systems that can help us accelerate the path to net-zero.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in further developing and optimizing our technology. This position requires an individual who is comfortable with the full product development cycle—from designing, drawing to building, testing, and optimizing.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and develop components and system for prototyping.
· Conduct performance testing, analysis, and optimization of prototype.
· Create detailed CAD drawings.
· Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during prototyping and testing.
· Provide insights and implement solutions for improving the overall efficiency and reliability of the product.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Master`s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
· Experience in mechanical design and prototyping (preferred).
· Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
· Experience working in a lab or hands-on environment.
· Knowledge of electrolyzer / green hydrogen production is a plus.
· A passion for sustainability and creating a positive environmental impact.
