Arbetsbeskrivning:Join Our Team: Inspirational Home Economics Teacher for Grades 6–9 (40%)

We are now looking for a passionate and committed Home Economics Teacher for Grades 6–9 (40%) to join our vibrant and forward-thinking team.
About the Role
As a Home Economics teacher at Dibber International School, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating engaging lessons in Home Economics (Hem- och konsumentkunskap) for students in Grades 6–9. Teaching is conducted in English, and you will support students in developing both practical life skills and subject knowledge in a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment.
In this role, you will:
Plan and teach Home Economics for Grades 6–9 in English.
Support students to meet the knowledge requirements and develop practical and theoretical understanding.
Create a structured and engaging learning environment where students build confidence and independence.
Use digital tools and modern teaching methods to enhance learning.
Work in line with the Swedish curriculum and IB-inspired pedagogical practices.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
A teaching license (lärarlegitimation) in Home Economics / Hem- och konsumentkunskap for Grades 6–9, or is currently in the process of applying for one.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Experience using digital tools in teaching.
Excellent communication skills in English. Swedish is merited.
